Lessons and Units from Pre-Internship
During my pre-internship year I had the opportunity to teach at Jack Mackenzie School in Regina. For the first semester I taught a great group of grade three and four students one lesson once a week. For the winter semester I completed two two-week blocks where I taught the units that I had created.
My first unit focussed on English Language Arts and was about Aboriginal Legends and Stories.

My next unit was thematic where I had the chance to take many different subject areas into consideration. During this unit the students learned about Reducing, Reusing, and Recycling.
